Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Tillrow LLC, which operates Acre Tracker ("Acre Tracker," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, and protects information when you visit acretracker.com, purchase a plan, or use Acre Tracker. We keep data collection to what we need to sell and run the product, and we do not sell your personal information.

Information we collect

  • Purchase and account information. When you buy a plan, our store platform (Shopify) collects your name, email address, billing details, and order information so we can process the sale and support you. Payment card details are handled by the payment processor, not stored by us.
  • Your farm data. The standard version of Acre Tracker stores the farm data you enter locally in your own browser — it stays on your device and we cannot see it. If you enable optional cloud sync, backup, or the Claude connector, the farm data you choose to save is transmitted to and stored by our cloud providers so we can sync it across your devices and answer your questions.
  • Communications. If you email us for support, we keep those messages and your contact details to help you.
  • Website usage. Our store platform uses cookies and similar technologies to operate the storefront, remember your cart, and understand site usage. You can control cookies through your browser and the store's cookie settings.

How we use information

  • To process your order, deliver access to Acre Tracker, and send you your connector code and account information.
  • To provide optional cloud sync, backup, and the Claude connector when you enable them.
  • To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
  • To operate, secure, and improve our products and website.
  • To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

Service providers we use

We share information only with the providers that help us run Acre Tracker, and only as needed to provide the service:

  • Shopify — our e-commerce platform (store, checkout, and payments).
  • Render and Supabase — cloud hosting and database for optional cloud sync, backup, and the connector. Your saved farm data lives here only if you enable those features, in a private, access-controlled store scoped to your account.
  • Resend — sends transactional emails, such as your connector welcome email.
  • Anthropic (Claude). If you choose to connect Acre Tracker to Claude, Claude reads your own farm data — read-only — only when you authorize it, so it can answer your questions. You control this connection and can remove it at any time in Claude.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.

How your data is protected

Cloud data is stored in access-controlled systems, scoped so that each customer can only reach their own data, and secrets are kept server-side. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information. You are responsible for keeping your own account credentials and connector code private.

Data retention

We keep purchase and account records for as long as needed to provide the service and meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. Cloud farm data is retained while your account is active; you can ask us to delete it (see below).

Your choices and rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and you may opt out of non-essential emails. To make a request, email sales@acretracker.com from the address associated with your purchase. We will respond within a reasonable time and as required by applicable law.

Children

Acre Tracker is intended for use by farm businesses and is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated "Last updated" date.
